What It Is
Designed the end-to-end UX/UI for Emotion Machine’s Companion Builder, a B2B tool that helps teams create and test AI companions. Owned the flow, information architecture, design system, hi-fi prototype, and a voice mode animation system.
The Challenge
Improve clarity and momentum—help teams go from setup to a testable companion quickly, while keeping deeper controls available for advanced configuration.
What I Delivered
- Guided onboarding for defining purpose, approach, and tone
- Consistent edit-left / test-right layout to tighten the build→test loop
- Advanced settings IA (context, samples, guardrails, etc.) + conversation review screens
- Voice mode animation (iterated to a calmer final) + implementation-ready code handoff
Outcome
- Cohesive MVP-ready workflow from landing to testing
- Scalable UI foundation via reusable components and layout patterns
- Faster iteration enabled through hi-fi prototype + motion spec/code
